On Tuesday, 25 February, elementary students from EBPP Bunga and Manikaji schools competed in the 2025 Students’ Sports Week (Pekan Olahraga Pelajar [PORJAR]) village-level competition in Ban Village. This event brought together students from eight elementary schools in Ban village, competing in various sports.
A total of 11 EBPP students joined different competitions: Two boys from Manikaji in the 80-meter sprint, and two girls in the 60-meter sprint. In chess, one girl from Bunga and one boy from Manikaji competed. For the long jump, two boys from Manikaji and one girl from Bunga and one from Manikaji. In the shot put, one girl from Bunga and one boy from Manikaji competed - who also joined the 80-meter sprint.
We are proud to announce that Sari from Bunga won 1st place in girls’ chess, Puspa from Manikaji took 2nd place in boys’ chess, and Juni from Bunga School got 2nd place in girls’ shot put. Congratulations to the winners! Your hard work has paid off. To those who didn’t win, your participation and effort are still a great achievement, and this experience will help you grow.
The three students who won will now compete at the district level in Kubu next month. As teachers, we will continue to support and train them to perform their best.
